Q: What are your wiring instructions?

A: Please visit our Wiring Instructions page for information in regards to sending wires to Mid America Bank. We can make outgoing wires for account holders, just contact us to get started!

Q: Do Mid America Bank debit cards work internationally?

A: Our cards will work within the US, but is typically restricted for out-of-country transactions. Contact us if you plan on travelling outside the U.S. or purchasing internationally online.

Q: Do you have employees who can notarize documents?

A: Yes! Across all of our branches, we have full-time employees who are public notaries.

Q: Can I make my loan payment online?

A: Yes! Our Loan Servicing Department can set up a recurring ACH transfer to automatically pay your loan each month. Contact us to get started! You can also use online banking to make a loan payment by making an account-to-loan transfer from a Mid America Bank account or by using external transfers to make a payment from another bank.

Q: Are you FDIC insured?

A: Yes, we are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Company. Each depositor is insured to at least $250,000.

Q: When will my deposit be available?

A: Our business day closes at 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. That means any deposit made after 4:30 p.m. will be available after the close of day on the next business day. For mobile deposits, the business day cutoff time is 2:00 p.m.

Q: Why all the questions?

A: In accordance with the USA Patriot Act, our financial institution is required to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person that has an account. We will ask your name, address, DOB, SSN, and other information, including but not limited to a current, non-expired picture identification. We support all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our customers and our country. Our financial institution verifies all account applicants with eFunds ChexSystems, and OFAC.
